Bebop

Release Year: 1988

Series: Basic Assortment

Bebop, alongside his mutated side kick Rocksteady, were a big part of the cartoons. His figure is one of the better representations from Playmates with great colours and a solid construction, definitely one of the collectors favorites.

He did come in soft head version first followed by the more common hard head release and there was two "versions" of each. They are not variants so to speak but both soft and hard heads can be found with either a brown or pink face. This is more a painting anomaly than an actual variant and figures can be found with a varying range between brown and pink.

Bebop comes with three weapons, his drill gun, his knife which is harder to find and a shield. The shield is similar to the one released with both the 1989 Turtlecycle and the one in 1988's Gags, Jokes and Crazy Weapons #2. His shield is the same colour as his weapons and has more ridges on the rim and details on the back.
